Natural, recyclable, biodegradable and outstandingly durable! Solid hardwoods can be buffed and recoated to recover their original luster, and re-sanded and stained to match your changing décor. Solid hardwoods can only be installed at ground level and above.
Typical industry size profiles are ¾”, 9/16” & 5/16” in thickness, and 2 ¼”, 3 ¼” and wider depending on manufacturers.
Installation is typically by nailed or stapled down, although some thinner solids can be glued…determined by individual manufacturer. Most solid hardwoods come pre-finished with an up-to 35-year surface wear warrantee. Solid hardwoods can be ordered unfinished for custom staining and coating on site.
