Right from our opening in 1989, The Floor Shop has focused on developing extensive product knowledge on all hardwood flooring, engineered hardwoods, exotics and green flooring products.

Over the years we have developed a team of professional installers, accurate estimators and very informative customer service staffers in three well located, decoratively merchandised GTA showrooms featuring hundreds of floor samples by specie, colour, milling profiles and installation applications.  Our newest location in the Kingsway has a Certified Interior Decorator for doing flooring colour consults in your home and to generally assist you in making the right decorating decisions.

We strongly feel the flooring we have researched and chosen to represent in solids and engineered products, exotics, cork, bamboo and designer laminates are created by some of the best manufacturers available. They offer excellent value to our customers in value, manufacturing standards, environmental values and creativity in flooring designs.

Our Experienced showroom staff is always willing to assist you with room theme, area functionality and of course trying to meet your budget.  The Floor Shop is a preferred Installation Company to Holmes on Homes on the HGTV Network.

Our Installation staff is covered by Workplace Safety Insurance Board (WSIB), they are Bonded and The Floor Shop carries $2,000,000 Liability Insurance.
